Christian's top bottling comes from a selection of the estate’s best Gaglioppo grapes, from 50+ year old vines, trained in the traditional 'alberello' system – that's the image that graces his bottles, the beautifully gnarled, low to the ground 'little trees' that maximize sunlight, heat resistance, and air circulation. Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, it's aged in stainless steel tanks for over two years. Winemaking is minimal, as always, and the result is full of life, brimming with aromas of small berry fruit, pomegranate, and black pepper. It balances firmness and delicacy, with naturally forceful tannins that quickly melt away in the glass.
