About Biondivino
We cover Italy top to bottom and hand select our portfolio of wines from smaller producers, featuring organic and biodynamic, natural wines as well as harder to find cult classics. Commercialism and scores don't matter here – instead we focus on quality and history.
Ceri Smith founded Biondivino Wine Boutique in the fall of 2006. She named it after her Italian great grandfather, Settimio Biondi, who arrived in 1906, the day after “The Great Quake.” Fast forward 100 years when Biondivino shook up San Francisco by being the first wine boutique to focus entirely on the artisan gems of Italy.
During the last 18 years we've become the Bay Area's source for high quality, traditionally styled Italian wines.
In 2012, Biondivino was awarded the prestigious Leccio d'Oro award from the Consorzio Brunello di Montalcino. The boutique has also been featured in numerous publications:
