Charged with volcanic verve, this vintage comes from a cooler year, giving it tighter lines and sharper edges. A blend of organically farmed, native Sicilian varieties gathered from four distinct corners of the island (Grillo from Marsala, Cataratto from Alcamo, etc.), each parcel is fermented on its own before being united at Anna and Eric’s cellar high on Etna’s northern slopes. The nose opens with white flowers and citrus oil; the palate with lemon zest, grapefruit pith, and sea-spray salinity. This is a wine that is at once dangerously drinkable and wildly iconoclastic, yet leveled with vibrant acidity and a fine mineral streak. A store favorite every year!
