The winemaking here is old-school: grapes are fermented with whole bunches for two weeks before being foot stomped and left to spend a year in old casks in Nino's garage. It's a wine that feels resolutely Mediterranean, with bright, sun-kissed red fruits matched by a lifted, herbaceous note that calls to mind the garrigue of these hills and the brine of the oceans below.
