Hailing from a variety of plots of over 80-year-old Zibibbo bush vines planted to pumice rich soils referred to locally as 'Soki Soki,' the wine sees 7 days of maceration before transfer to old barrels for a few months, the process lending a dash of structure and direction to the classical plushness of the varietal. Ethereal jasmie, juicy yellow grapefruits, green papaya, mediterranean herbs, sunshine and salt dominate a wine that seems to twist and turn every 15 minutes.
