Joyous and carefree Sicilian bubbles here... Marco's 'Voria' line up is driven by pure pleasure and refreshment, and boy do they deliver in spades. All Catarratto once again, the Voria Bianco is fermented to dry then bottled after 3 months with a little unfermented must, kicking off the secondary fermentation in bottled and creating the raft of gentle, fuzzy bubbles . Released without disgorgement but always super clean and fresh, this frizzante lean into the tropical side of things (not always the image immediately conjured when considering PdV's craggy, windswept hills!) – dried pineapple, pulpy yellow pear, white flowers, lemon zest, and plenty of salinity.
