A genetic match for the Provençal red grape Tibouren, a variety known for producing wonderfully fleshy rosé wines and taught, mineral-focused reds, Danila’s take on Rossese skews to the lighter end of the grape’s potential, leaning heavily into its proclivity for spice and florality. Walking the line between tangy acid and a distinctly meaty/salty character, this offers something altogether bright, tart, and sunny, hallmarked by intense aromatics of cardamom, rose, violet, smoked Hungarian paprika, dried black plum, and cranberry.
