'Ossimoro' comes from the Greek oxy, meaning 'sharp,' and moros, 'dull' – a game of opposites. Produced in limited quantities and featuring the dichotomous pairing of Aglianico and Primitivo grapes, raised in stainless steel for 12 months, 18 months in barrel, with another year in bottle. Intense and vibrant, with aromas of dark spices and red berries, smoked earth and ripe plum, on the palate it really reveals its double soul: strong and firm, soft and velvety. With fleshy, meaty tones, Ossimoro accompanies exotic fare quite deftly.
