100% Tocai Friuliano, fruit is sourced from an 80 year old vineyard in Cormons called Ca'Cavorgnan, planted to a mere 320 vines. The vines are grown organically on the stony “ponca” soils of compacted sandstone and marl at 75 meters above sea level. This wine was fermented in just two, old barrique where it remained on the full lees for 8 months of elevage, before being bottled and allowed 12 months of resting before release. This is a marked departure in approach from Sirk's Bianco normale, lending a deeper and more textured terroir expression.
