Mostly Greghetto (a local variety of Sangiovese), with some Cannaiolo, Ciliegiolo, and Vaiano, as they grow mixed on the vines. Perhaps the best iteration of this wine we’ve tried in its youth, it's vibrant and remarkably complete with gorgeous aromatics, a cherry-hue, and crystalline purity of fruit. Soaring with flavors of dark cherry and red berries, a touch of flint, fine tannins and beautiful acidity from start to finish, this is Sangiovese adapted to the volcanic terrain and essential drinking for fans of the grape.
