Le Coste's famously peerless rosato, as pretty and perfumed as ever. Aleatico from 50-year-old vines, planted some 500 meters above sea level. Grapes spend just a few hours on their skins before a year of élevage in old barrels. Aromas — ripe apricot, blood orange, and watermelon met by minerals, smoke, and wild roses — that absolutely jump out of the glass. Bracing acidity and a bit of grip make for an incredibly complex, compelling rosé. Yowza.
