Le Cinciole’s 2025 Rosato is pure Sangiovese from the estate’s biodynamically-farmed vineyards in Panzano, high in the hills of Chianti Classico. The grapes see only brief skin contact before a gentle pressing; the free-run juice ferments spontaneously and ages briefly in stainless steel. Bright and brisk, this is gorgeous right out of the gate, with tart strawberry, Morello cherry and pomegranate, followed by violet, rosemary and a savory herbal edge. Juicy red fruit is sharpened by lively acidity and the distinctly stony, saline character of Sangiovese grown on Panzano’s galestro soils. A rosato with real structure, but plenty of instant gratification.
