Emmanuel Lassaigne's most broadly appealing offering – a real journeyman on our shelves. 100% Chardonnay sourced from 9 different sites in Montgueux – an island of Chardonnay-appropriate limestone in the otherwise Pinot Noir-rich Aube – aged in a mix of new & old barrels for 12 to 24 months. Bright citrus aromatics with leafy, herbal notes, rolling into a palate vibrantly alive with more succulent citrus and melon. It's a richer Blanc de Blancs that maintains plenty of acidity and cut. A wonderful match to oysters, seafood and shellfish – and of course, by itself.
