The 2019 Barolo classico is dark, ample, and super expressive, showing juicy and perfectly ripe red fruits, with succulent dark cherry, plum, leather, rose petal and spice, all nicely amplified. Fabulously silky and rounded tannins allows this mid-weight wine to offer plenty to the impatient early consumer (we won’t judge!) with fine balance and all the elements just so well put together. As is often the case, the straight Barolo punches above its weight. Vineyard sites are a stellar collection of parcels from Rocche dell'Annunziata, Boiolo, Sarmassa, Vignane, Codana and a touch of Cannubi.
