Almost monolithic in its stature and presence, the 'Dinavolo' is Giulio's most serious bottling, hailing from a selection of the best bunches, from the oldest vines on the property. Malvasia, Ortrugo, and Marsanne dominate the blend with the addition of 25% 'unknown varietals;' the Dinavolo offers a dense and brawny profile highlighted by apricot skin, marmalade, white balsamic, candied citrus pith, and bay leaf all woven through unashamedly full and luscious mouthfeel drawn from a number of month spent on skins. A wine that demands time, air, temperature and a big beautiful hunk of porchetta.
