Likely the most structured and nuanced of Damijan's whites. The nose is an incredibly complex mix of crunchy dried apricot, Grand Marnier, orange peel, roses and creme caramel. That dried apricot stealthily unravels in the mouth both in terms of flavor and texture, framing the continuation of the super-lifted and intense nose into a long, luscious mouthful of wine. Though deceptively supple in body, there is plenty of underlying backbone by way of acid and fine tannins supporting the fruit. This will be a great wine to watch over the next decade.
