An unassuming but spot-on introduction to Valtellina Nebbiolo, and to the new wave of the Balgera winery. 20% is 2019 unoaked Nebbiolo, 80% is 2016 Nebbiolo aged in large cask, all subject to shorter macerations. A juicy, and bright mountain red (not unsuited for a light chill!), loaded with wild strawberries, faded red flowers, thyme and freshly ripe blackberries. Silky and smooth tannins give this great structure and keep it super easy-going.
