Tight, tart, and wonderfully evocative of northern Italy. The Antoniotti's low-intervention, very clean winemaking has resulted in a fresh young wine redolent of red cherry, rose petal, dusty sandalwood spice, a hint of black pepper, and slightly under-ripe strawberry. Mostly Nebbiolo, with Croatina and Vespolina, just about the same blend as their Bramaterra bottling, but in a more accessible style. Vibrant, pure, and delicate with subtle red apple skin-like tannin. A strong contender for your new house red!
