Made entirely from direct pressed Montepulciano and aged for one year in used botti, this is bright and vibrant in the glass, with a rich pink hue. Spicy from first tilt, an alluring smoky reduction blows off to reveal dried sage, wild strawberries, stone dust and violet candies Pleasantly ripe in style, with a sold core of salty minerals to balance, crisp wild berry fruits and blood orange notes flow across the palate with ease. Displaying remarkable complexity and refinement, it tapers off with sweet tannins that frame everything perfectly.
