A broad and expansive nose of jasmine, Golden Delicious apple, poached Bosc pear and melon lead out, with a big whiff of raw almond, crushed stone and slate speaking to a strong mineral digression. Citrus, nectarine and pink grapefruit , with the telltale acidity lurking just below the surface, accompanied by Fiano’s classically sapid finish. Be sure to give this one some air, and remove from the chiller 30 mins before consuming.
