Emerging from what is likely being touted as the greatest Tuscan vintage of the past 3 decades, the Padelletti's 2020 Rosso might be the biggest steal of this whole line-up. Of the Padelletti’s six hectares planted, two of those are devoted entirely to the production of Rosso di Montalcino (vs. the utilization of 'less desirable' fruit from their Brunello vineyards.) Waves of powdered red cherry, fresh-picked sage, menthol, tobacco and dried red and purple flowers weave through a nimble and fleshy frame. What a scream for the price!
