The Posca Bianca is a still take on Pignoletto (with a bit of Alionza, Albana and Malvasia), crafted in a style Federico dubs vino perpetuo. Drawn from a multi-vintage, solera-style tank that includes every vintage back to 2010, each bottling continues a never-ending blend. Combining the waxy and herbal characters of mature Pignoletto with the bright fruit and floral freshness of younger vintages, the Posca rolls out elderberry, white peach and gooseberry, kept in check by the grape’s trademark salty, nutty backbone. A trattoria-style wine of real intrigue — easy to drink, anything but simple.
