A blend dominated by the younger parcels of Sangiovese on the property, the Gaetano contains a few smaller splashes of international varietals (Syrah, Merlot). Clem and Gianmarco often describe this as their ‘picnic wine’ and it’s easy to see why: a charming little bottle, this thing has ALL the cherries — red, black, sour — backed up with woodsy spice, licorice, wildflowers, and candied violet.
