Crafted entirely from organically farmed Sangiovese, fermented in concrete vats and aged in giant 2000L oak casks for 12-18 months, this Chianti's nimble and silky tannins wrap around a core of dark red and black cherry, raspberry cola, enticing lavender, black cherry cough drop, liquorice and a touch of buffed old leather. This is a wine that leaves the palate cleansed, refreshed and satisfied… like a knife through butter, so goes any great Sangiovese through any fat, salt or jubilant conversation one may have in their mouth.
