The Iuli Umberto is a fresh, certified organic Barbera fermented in stainless steel, aged for 10-11 months in cement tanks then 3 months aging in bottle and finally bottled without fining or filtration. This wine is indeed made of 100% Barbera in Monferrato, regardless of the VdT designation. The palate is smooth and juicy with lively tannins and exudes plush black raspberry, licorice, and plum flavors.
