Winemaker Tasting - Thursday, February 29: Marianna Annio of Pietraventosa (Puglia)

Marianna Annio is the one of Pietraventosa's founders, together with her husband, Raffaele. Both come from other work experiences, and decided to start this Pugliese wine adventure together, buying the land and planting the vineyards. After a very short period, Pietraventosa immediately became one of the most representative wineries in Gioia del Colle Primitivo territory. Their unique, expressive terroir, limited production, and meticulous, hand-harvested selection – all not so common is this corner of the boot – give the wines an unmistakable personality.
