It's a decent bet to regard a Piemontese producer’s Langhe Nebbiolo bottling as a great barometer for the domaine’s potential, and as this bottle continues to prove, we’re all in for a treat. With fruit sourced from a mix of parcels between La Morra, Roero and Dogliani, Trediberri's Langhe Nebbiolo sees time only in steel and cement. Pleasurable as it is approachable with oodles of varietal purity, the 2022 Langhe Neb packs classic aromas of forest berry, white licorice and dusty earth, with fine-grained tannins and great levity. Meant to be an easy (yet not trivial) wine to share with friends—as well paired with a charcuterie board as a rich Piemontese ragù.
