Calabrian wine tends to have a distinct personality, which is fully on display here, but an overall brighter body and leaner, tea-like tannins makes this primed for dinner on the patio as opposed to anything to heavy or overblown Sunkissed dried herbs and fruit, with hints of smoke and tobacco, and plenty of earth. Greco Nero is a relatively rare grape found almost exclusively in Calabria and is most often blended with the more common Gaglioppo.
