This is some super fresh and juicy-as-all-geddup' Sangiovese with some funky Beaujolais feels. Whole cluster, short macerations and full carbonic, the Joe-San is aged in a mix of terracotta amphora and three old barriques. The wine smacks of plush Marschino cherries, Dutch liqorice, and salumi cave and bright and refreshing angles at every turn. Loves around 30 mins of oxygen and a light chill.
