The I Garagisti boys specialize in small-batch Sardinian wines, made in a rebellious manner. Coming from Mandrolisai, in the middel of the island, 'Garage' (a nod to its humble orignis) blends Monica, Cannonau and Bovale Sardo, all estate-grown grapes, fermented with the native yeasts, and aged just for 6 months in stainless steel. An intensely bright and fruit-forward red – with juicy wild strawberries, plenty of herbaceousness, band ang-on acidituy – that can be served slightly chilled.
