Roero’s geologically 'younger' and sandy/loamy soils have proved especially conducive to the development of aromatics in the famously perfumed Nebbiolo, while also producing wines a shade less tannic than their Barolo neighbors – and this bottle's combination of easy accessibility, complexity, and length is Roero exemplified. Aged for 16 months in cement and 6 months in the bottle. Sweetly spicy, floral, and delicately perfumed with crushed raspberry and cherry that reverberate on a medium-bodied frame with an open and alluring finish. Fine tannins with high acid makes this an exceptionally supple and a very food friendly wine.
