The wine that started it all for Giuseppe and Kyriaki, this is a dense and multi-dimensional take on Arneis with a whole bunch of heft and texture. The fruit for the 'Arkè' is the result of the final pass of Arneis for the vintage – a dry, late-harvest wine of sorts – with a large portion of the fruit having begun to dry on the vine. The wine sees a full 6 months of skin contact in large barrels before being racked off and returned to barrel for a further year. Dried apricot, roasted quince, singed citrus oils and a good dose of some hippie-ish eastern spices; a great wine to explore over a few hours in a decanter!
