A joint venture between Angela Fronti, of Istine in Chianti, and the esteemed vermouth producers at Bordiga has yielded this delightful Toscana-Piemonte collaboration unlike any other on our shelves. The base wine is a rosé of Sangiovese from Angela's Chianti vineyards, the subtle rose color coming from the grape skins themselves, infused with a combination of 34 botanicals, including wormwood, elderberry, sage, quinquina, gentian, mint and juniper. The result is a delicate and complex sipping vermouth that drinks like a bianco, fruit-forward with some floral and fresh herbaceous notes, and a pleasant bitter-sweetness on the finish.´
