A blend of Moscato Giallo and Moscato Bianco from fifty year old vines in Teolo, with a little fruit from a parcel Marco rents up the hill in Monte della Madonna. The fruit spends three weeks on skins before being transferred to a combination of old barriques and cuve for seven months. Whistle clean, and likely Marco's best vintage yet (in our humble opinion) the 'Emma' draws you in with an eccentric yet delicate nose full of elderflower, honeysuckle and rosewater, while neatly chalky tannins and a pleasant spine of phenolic bitterness bring refreshment in spades.
