Rooted in tradition without being stuck in the past, the wines of Fabio Alessandria’s historic estate of G.B. Burlotto intrinsically maintain a delicate, yet structured balance that shines across his bottlings, much like the personality of the man behind the wine.  

The historic property, located in the commune of Verduno, was established by Fabio’s great-great-grandfather, Giovan Battista Burlotto, il Commendatore, in the mid-18th century, during which time it earned the distinguished titles of “Supplier to the Savoy Royal Household” and “The Only Supplier to the Duke of Abruzzi’s Artic Expedition to the North Pole." Despite the hifalutin pedigree, they are wines that are a soft whisper in a room full of loud voices, heard over the din of noise, resonant, loved and respected.
