Macerated Pinot Grigio from the rolling hills of the Colli Goriziano, squeezed between the Adriatic and the Slovenian Alps. Part of the ’S’ line from Radikon, which sees shorter macerations (in this case 10-14 days, versus three months for the flagship wines), is very lightly sulfured at bottling, and released in standard 750ml bottles; Sasa Radikon's addition to his dad’s originals. ‘Sivi’ is aged in oak botti for a year on its lees, spending another year in bottle before release. Notes of tangerine, spice, baked stone fruits, and a whisper of heady, bitter herbs preside over a savory, pithy texture and smooth tannins. High acidity and immense freshness make for a very drinkable introduction to the Radikon way.
