The ‘Ludvik’ Rosso is a multi-vintage red blend, combining 40% Pinot Nero, 30% Terrano, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot, sourced from 20-year-old vines rooted in red clay and limestone soils. Each grape variety is vinified separately in Edi’s three-story cellar carved into the limestone bedrock, emphasizing minimal intervention, and aged in a combination of barriques and 25-hectoliter botti. Succulent dark fruit, floral perfume, and a dash of spice combine to form a distinctive Friulian bottling that is a no-brainer for any wintry weeknight dinner.
