Denis’ Uis Neris wines are ready for the world only after 4 years in oak barrels and a bit more time in the Montanar cellar – but we’re thrilled they’ve made it! 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, with 3 weeks of whole-cluster maceration, and it shows. Ripe but very fresh red fruit leads the way, before venturing to the wild woods with brambly, leafy, forest floor undergrowth (hello, Cab Franc) and balsamic notes. Full-bodied and spicy, with definite but mature tannins. Long and savory, and despite being a rather serious wine it's absolutely approachable now, destined for the dinner table.
