90% Malvasia/10% Ortrugo & Trebbiano Toscano, co-planted and averaging 30 years old. On-skin maceration lasted 4 months, imparting its overall opulence, rich amber hue, and fuller body. A spiced, honeyed, and complex wine with aromas of orange peel, aniseed, chamomile, and thyme. Fresh and lively on the palate, with plump, juicy tannins providing just enough grip and plenty of lush flavors, from rose-water charm to overripe mandarins and mango chutney to clean apple-orchard fruit and rhubarb. Notes of cinnamon and ginger come through on a memorable finish.
