The 2017 Brunello from Paradiso di Cacuci is a wine packed with plenty of gusto and guts, one of the hottest vintages as of late but handled with aplomb. Notes of ripe red plum and black cherry, dried flower, and leather emanate from the glass and ripple across the palate, backed by fine, tea like tannins and a long finish. 36 months in Slavonian oak, followed by 2 years in bottle.
