Named in homage to our dear friend Clémence, this is a rare example of a Champagne derived entirely from Pinot Meunier (despite it being the second most widely planted varietal in the region!) Packed with a fleshy core of red and yellow fruit pulp, the 2016 rendition of the MdC sees flinty minerals and creamy textures provide the canvas for tart Bosc pear, lime juice and citrus-flecked almond praline. Aged from 6 months in steel tanks followed by a further 6 years in bottle. An out and out store favorite each and every year!
