Comprised of the local Raboso del Piave with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, Maurizio’s still red packs a punch as well. Aged partly in steel and partly in terra cotta amphorae, and bottled without filtration. A bright and buoyant bouquet recalls red berries and plum, pomegranate, carob, fresh cut hay, and balsamic. On the lighter side of medium-bodied, it's full of red and black fruits and crushed herbal notes, the spicy, zippy fruit mingling with a slight zing on the palate – plenty of juicy, telltale Raboso acidity here along fresh, fine tannins.
