Buondonno's Chianti Classico is made from 100% Sangiovese, and is the winery's main wine. The wine is macerated for 20 days in steel and cement with daily reassembly. Aging takes place for 12 months in partially used wooden barrels of different sizes. Juicy, intense, and aromatic, offering the perfect intersection of fleshy cherried fruit, 'eau-de-Italian deli' (espresso, oregano, salumi) and savory, mineral-driven earth.
