While initially known for their more Mediterranean varieties, Cabernet Franc has found pride of place at the estate, where the unique conditions of Roccatederighi – complex, mineral-rich soils, warm climate, and cool sea breezes – create an ideal expression of vine and terroir. Pulled from the 'dell-Asina' vineyard at 500 meters asl, this is juicy, bright and pure, with aromas of forest berries, sour cherries, wild herbs and crushed white pepper. Red currants, pomegranate, orange peel, menthol and intense, savory mineral notes meld together in a deep, medium-bodied wine with silky tannins. Leaves you wondering, in equal measure: "Is this really Tuscan Cab Franc I’m drinking?" and "Why don’t I drink more Cab Franc?!".
