This golden-colored skin contact wine is from the rare Ansonica (aka Ansonaco) grape, grown in bush vines on sandy, stone-rich soils, all on terraces overlooking – almost falling into – the sea. Fruit macerates in stainless steel for about three weeks before being racked to barrel for aging. Deep and intense in the glass with perfumes of mature stones fruits – think all of the peaches and nectarines – Mediterranean herbs, white pepper, white balsamic, and blood orange. Sunny, round, and pleasantly tea-like, with notably firm tannin and a dry finish. Dreamy with seafood.
