While many of his colleagues are climbing higher and higher on Mt. Etna to expose their vines to a cooling breeze, Alessandro makes his wines in the Sicilian lowlands near Palermo, where the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea provides the necessary refreshment. Note di Bianco is 100% Grillo, spontaneously fermented then aged in steel on the lees for 6 months. A fresh, invigorating wine that smells wonderfully of salt, lemons, thyme and sage; with notes of ripe yellow fruits, marzipan, white flowers, and ocean spray. Complex in its simplicity, it’s a super juicy seaside wine with great grip and excellent persistence.
