Tending some of the oldest vines in the Côte des Blancs, Pascal and Fabrice Agrapart are known for their meticulous work in the vineyard (and humility-meets-fierce-passion), and when you taste the wines it shows. The 'Terroirs,' a non-vintage blend of têtes de cuvée from terroirs in Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry, flaunts layers of zingy citrus and florals, and an energetic, chalky mineral core. The overall package is one of impeccable balance and amazing clarity of expression, a fine, elegant, yet powerful Champagne…dare we say a “poor man's Clos de Mesnil”?
