The town of Agnano sits on the edge of a crater in the moonscape terrain west of Naples. This is Campi Flegrei, where the sandy, volcanic soil imparts a smokey minerality to the wines. This is perhaps the best region in the world for Falanghina, which achieves a depth and complexity here that it does nowhere else. Agnanum is is one of our all-time favorites!
