Another bottling that incorporates the use of reserve wine, this one named for Alessandra's nickname for her favorite aunt, this cuvée is in essence the Blanc de Blancs, but all grown up. Dady, 80-years-young, is independent, austere, and imminently curious (she recently took a solo trip across Ethiopia) and her influence on Alessandra permeates the wine. The same lightly macerated Chardonnay is blended with reserve wine from previous vintages to create an even more mineral version of the Blanc de Blancs, with added depth, color, and character to boot. 48 months on the lees brings out the textural complexity and oxidative aromas in the presence of ever-present acid linearity.
