Made exclusively from first-press Pinot Noir – picked from 20+ year old vines based in clay and limestone – softly hand pressed with a manual wood basket press. Aged for 48 months on the lees, this wine is lavishly giving, with a bouquet of rich tertiary aromas on the nose – dried fruit, brioche, green almond – and powerful minerality and structure on the palate. Deeply expressive of limestone, Egly Ouriet-like for the Champagne fans.
